Our main service is Sunday afternoon, not morning.

Bible study begins at 3:30 PM and worship at 4:30 PM. First-time visitors often miss that, so we say it twice.

Parking is free and on site. Come in through the main doors — someone will be there to welcome you.

Before you come

What language is the service in? Sunday worship is in Zomi — the singing, the prayers, and the preaching. AWANA and our youth program are in English, so young people growing up here are at home too.

What time should I arrive? About ten minutes before 4:30. If you’re running late, come anyway and slip in wherever there’s room.

What should I wear? Whatever you own. You’ll see suits and you’ll see jeans on the same row. Nobody is checking.

How long is the service? About an hour and a half. We finish around 6:00 PM.

What actually happens? We sing together, we pray, Scripture is read, and our pastor preaches from the Bible. Our choir leads worship. We take an offering — as our guest, please don’t feel any obligation to give.

Where do my children go? Children are welcome in the Sunday service, and we’re not bothered by noise. On Saturday evenings AWANA meets from 7:00 to 9:00 PM — Bible teaching, Scripture memory, and games, in English.

I’ve just arrived and don’t know anyone. Can I come? Yes — this is exactly why the church exists. Come on Sunday, or write to us first at church@atlantaebc.org and someone will meet you.

Will I be singled out? No. We won’t ask you to stand or introduce yourself. Say hello afterward if you’d like — it’s entirely up to you.
